CleanUps Philosophy

At CleanUps cleaning our philosophy centres around 4 core values which help us to provide a great service to our clients and make a positive contribution to the UK economy and environment.

1) We believe it is important we look after our staff

At CleanUps cleaning we believe that the quality of service you receive depends on the way we treat our staff. Our managing director (Chegrouche) believes that “A good company looks after its staff – then its staff will look after the clients”. We recognize that happy employees do the best job.  

2) We strive to ensure ethical business practices and management

We view management as a dynamic personal exchange in which to engage socially responsible work processes. Giving employees opportunities for personal and professional development is crucial. Chegrouche says...“As much as I enjoy seeing the company grow, I enjoy watching people grow in the process”. We encourage employees to contribute with enthusiasm and innovation across the company, and acknowledge their efforts. We want our staff to enjoy coming to work and the contribution they make to both CleanUps cleaning and the satisfaction of clients.

3) We address the environmental impact of commercial cleaning.

In our daily lives we aren’t always in a position to control the extent of pollutants that surround us, but by opting for environmentally friendly cleaning materials we are able to take a positive step in the right direction. Customers are becoming increasingly concerned about the harsh ingredients that make up many common cleaning agents. Growing demand for products that are kind to the environment as well as increased consciousness within our company has lead to our adoption of environmentally friendly products whenever it is possible to do so without jeopardizing the quality of our cleaning service.

4) We understand the value of keeping up to date with the latest cleaning technologies

In order to provide our clients the best service we conduct ongoing research into specialist cleaning techniques, equipment and technology. This allows us to provide a service which is efficient, reliable and of a continually high standard. It also allows us to keep ahead of our competition and ensure the service we provide is unsurpassable.

History

CleanUps Cleaning began humbly in 1997 when Chegrouche M, arriving in UK (from Switzerland) took a financial gamble and spent a large portion of his savings on a £5000 carpet-cleaning machine. Friends and family thought he had gone mad, but it wasn’t long before his machine had returned its investment.

Over the next 15 years,
CleanUps cleaning grew solely by word of mouth as satisfied clients recommended our services to colleagues and friends. With no marketing, no sales representation or even an ad in the yellow pages the company went on to become one of UK’s most substantial commercial cleaning companies. This remarkable growth has been due to a total focus on delivering consistently high service and exceeding client expectations.

2003 marked the beginning of a new era in
CleanUps Cleanings’ company development. With sound business practices, satisfied customers and great staff, the company has undergone a time of expansion, new business development and is now combining the commercial world of cleaning with marketing.

 
 

CleanUps Ltd POLICY STATEMENT

1.1 Introduction

CleanUps Ltd is aware of its responsibilities and obligations to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all its employees in the workplace. The Company shall comply with all the obligations placed upon it by The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its associated legislation, regulations, guides and codes of practice. All employees are therefore required to comply with the provisions of the Health and Safety Policy.

CleanUps Ltd  Key Objective

CleanUps Ltd considers health and safety matters to be of primary concern in the conduct of its daily business and declares the promotion of a safe and healthy working environment to be a Key Objective of the business. Accordingly, the Company is committed to ensuring that all employees at every level in the organisation, working in every area of the Company's activities, give priority to minimising risks and eliminating hazards. The Company believes that the achievement of this Key Objective benefit all persons involved in the Company's activities.

CleanUps Ltd Communications

CleanUps Ltd recognises that this Key Objective will only be achieved by effective communication with staff at all levels, as an integral part of the way the Company conducts its day to day business, through:

• Disseminating information
• Giving instruction
• Carrying out training
• Supervising work activities

Such as to promote constantly safe working practices, create awareness of, and gain, commitment to, safety on the part of each and every person involved in the Company's activities.


CleanUps Ltd Implementation

Implementation of this Health and Safety, Policy shall be achieved as follows:

CleanUps Ltd Carry out risk assessment of those areas of the business that pose a significant risk, then

• Develop suitable measures to control the risks
• Communicate those measures to employees, and
• Regularly review the risk assessment.

CleanUps Ltd Ensure safety practices and procedures are developed and maintained that

• Are relevant to the unit's activities
• Comply with statutory requirements, and
• Promote the involvement of all employees in the maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment


CleanUps Ltd Ensure appropriate emergency procedures exist in all units and that all employees understand the
procedures relevant to their location.


CleanUps Ltd Provide training, instruction and supervision as necessary to support the Company's activity.

CleanUps Ltd Provide appropriate protective equipment to comply with statutory requirements.

CleanUps Ltd Ensure appropriate procedures are maintained for the reporting and review of all accidents, near misses and
situations likely to jeopardise a healthy and safe working environment.


CleanUps Ltd Review the Company's health and safety management process at least once per annum to ensure it remains
dynamic, and that policy and procedures remain relevant to the needs of the business and to the needs of its employees,
clients and customers.

Ltd are one of the few cleaning companies in the South West to offer 'One-Off Cleans'. A one-off clean is a service offered in any environment.
We get your environment working and functional so you can get your operation or premises up and running as soon as possible.
Situations where a one-off clean might be useful are:

  • Insurance - whether you've suffered a fire of flood, it needs resolving as soon as possible.
  • One-off Office Cleaning – When moving to or from an office we can ensure your new office is clean and ready for your arrival, then clean up after your departure from the old office, ready to hand the keys back to the landlord.
  • Builders clean - individual house refurbishment
  • Builders clean - pre-move in new build.
  • End of Tenancy - when letting, it is important that prospective new tenants view a clean property.
  • Spring Clean - annual house clean to sweep away all those cobwebs

At CleanUps Ltd our cleaning is undertaken using animal friendly products. Areas are disinfected and made free from pet hair. To ensure we understand the exact needs of the customer we listen to exactly what is required.
